Join local poets

Of Poetry, Berries and Wine - A Midsummer Eve-nt
Saturday June 21, 2008 • 7:30-9:00 p.m.

Bring your lawn chair or blanket and enjoy an evening of art, poetry, berries and beverages with friends and neighbors at ArtStart. Meet visual artist Randy Scholes, a premier illustrator and designer of Minnesota poet's books, whose watercolors will be on display in ArtStart's gallery.

Then move to the backyard and enjoy a poetry reading that samples the poets and their books upcoming in ArtStart's 2008 Poets and Artists Series, including Roseann Lloyd, Todd Boss, Norita Dittberner-Jax,Tim Nolan, Margaret Hasse, Jill Breckenridge, Sun Yung Shin, Sharon Chmielarz, William Reichard, and Heid Erdrich.

Community members and neighbors are invited to share a poem as part of the "open mike" feature of the evening.

Admission: Free/donation preferred
