ScrapMobile workshops:

The 3 R’S-Artful Reuse
The 3 R’s Reduce, Reuse, Recycle workshops emphasize using discards, scraps, and other materials destined for the landfill to create an artistic product. Youth build basic art skills and learn about stewardship for the environment, as artists guide them through a fun and creative art making experience.

Cultural Workshops
Many Cultures/Many Voices emphasizes learning about other cultures, art forms and celebrations, while promoting our common bond as people reliant on a healthy environment worldwide.

The Artist’s Studio
In the Artist’s Studio youth focus on visual arts projects that teach the elements and principles of design using different media. Each workshop features a famous artist and his/her work to motivate the lesson. Youth learn about the artist’s life and discuss the work. Then they create a painting, sculpture, print, or collage inspired by this work.

Puppetry And Storytelling Performances And Art Workshops
New! this year we are offering puppet performances and storytelling workshops that can be coupled with art making. The performances are geared for up to 250 children, while the follow-up art workshops are designed to serve 20-25 youth over a two-hour period using traditional art materials combined with reuse materials.

We began catering festivals in 1993 and believe we have it down to a science, Hassle and trouble-free, we provide the idea, the artists and the materials all prepared for you.
