Volunteer

Volunteers are an important part of ArtStart; they engage with the youth in exciting art projects at festivals and workshops.

ArtStart is always looking for new volunteers to join our organization. Volunteers have the opportunity to spread arts education and inspire youth creativity. Our program builds on the volunteer’s experience in working with youth, while making a positive impact in the community. The options below are just a few of the many volunteer programs we offer.

ArtScraps
ArtScraps provides volunteers with experience working in a retail environment. Individuals must have cash register experience, and be able to lift up to 60lbs.

Event Planning
ArtStart hosts many events throughout the year. Volunteers have the chance to become involved in all aspects of the planning process.

Workshops and Festivals
ArtStart hosts many workshops and festivals throughout the year. Volunteers promote the organization and work with youth. Both day and weekend hours are available.

Volunteer applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
