In this kit you listen to the story of the Dream Carver by Diana Kohn with illustrations by Amy Cordova. You learn about Oaxacan folk art traditions. You create your own animal sculptures called “juegetes” or “alebrijes” out of clay and bring them to life by painting colorful patterns on each one.
Kit includes: Modeling clay-self-hardening; acrylic paints; paint brushes; molding tools; Q-tips and a plastic sheet to protect the table you work on.
