Come and see the 30 year time line of ArtStart’s existence and all the accomplishments and collaborations throughout the years.
Gustavo Boada is a theater-based multidisciplinary artist with more than 20 years of working in professional theater in Peru, Chile, Puerto Rico, Philadelphia and Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is well known for his work with traditional dance and performance masks, as well as designing and building puppets, performance structures and set design. While living in Peru, Gustavo had the opportunity to be part of one of the most important Peruvian and Latin American theater groups of the last century. He has settled in Minneapolis and is working as an artist in the community and schools. Currently, Gustavo along with artist Laurie Witzkowski, is teaching a puppet and storytelling residency taught exclusively in Spanish for K-5 students who attend a Spanish immersion school in Winona.

ArtStart’s Scrapmobile Community Workshops bring fabulous, funky materials from ArtStart’s ArtScraps Materials Reuse Center to your site with art projects and activities designed to spark the imagination!
